About Us
Greater Baltimore Chapter – National Aging in Place Council®
Helping Baltimore’s Older Adults Age Safely, Comfortably, and Confidently—Right at Home
The Greater Baltimore Chapter of the National Aging in Place Council® is a coalition of compassionate, vetted professionals united by one powerful mission: to help older adults remain safe, connected, and empowered in the homes of their choice and the communities they love.
We understand that aging in place isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey. It requires planning, education, and support across five key areas:
Housing • Health & Wellness • Personal Finance • Transportation • Community & Engagement
Our members—ranging from real estate experts and healthcare providers to financial advisors, nonprofit leaders, and local advocates—are committed to simplifying access to resources, hosting dynamic public events, and creating a reliable hub for guidance and referrals.
Through monthly educational seminars, grassroots outreach, and strategic collaborations with Maryland stakeholders, we’re not just responding to the needs of today’s seniors—we’re preparing our communities for a longevity-ready future.
At the heart of our work is the belief that aging in place isn’t just about staying home—it’s about staying empowered. And here in Greater Baltimore, we’re proud to lead the way with integrity, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to our older adults and their families.
