This session explores how clinical assessment, environmental risk analysis and interdisciplinary collaboration can strengthen aging-in-place as well as home modification programs.

About the Speaker
Dr. Comfort Uwadiae, PT, DPT, CEAS, ECHM, CAPS is the Founder & CEO of Opt2Restore, a rehab-led aging-in-place and home modification consulting firm based in New York.
As a former physical therapy provider and Clinical Instructor at Montefiore Hospital, she brings over 13 years of experience across acute critical care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient services. She maintains active clinical engagement through Catholic Health. She has led home-based care for the aging populations, supporting transitions from healthcare systems into real world living environments.
Dr. Uwadiae integrates comprehensive clinical assessments with evidence-based home modification recommendations, bridging clinical care and the built environment to support safer homes, improved coordination, and greater independence for the aging and medically complex populations.
